Buffet table with Castle Hill in background

Autumnal inspired wedding photoshoot

With Autumn and Winter very much upon us this collaberation photoshoot had all of the Autumnal feels to it, the wedding venue is the beautiful Castle Hill Estate, North Devon which is set in historic parklands with many different outside areas for those perfect picturesque wedding photos taken by James at www.jamesalexanderimages.co.uk

Teaming up with Joanna and Nick at Coutts Events we used their 8ft handmade rustic trestle table, round handmade wooden table, and vintage folding wooden chairs, with burnt orange linen and handmade wooden hexagon napkin rings the warm autumn colours really brought to life this photoshoot.

We used 3 different setups for the photoshoot, the first was a romantic date night scene which included Sharpham Pinot Nior, Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve, Sharpham brie hart, Cradocs crackers, waterhouse fayre chutney, Hand raised pork pie, mini cheese ploughman bites, farmhouse mature cheddar and dark chocolate orange brownies.

We also pictured a couple of Cheese cake stacks on the round wooden table which also had a nice autumn and seasonal feel to them, both of which included the very popular 4lb cutting pies we supply with a variety of different fillings – especially popular at Christmas is the Turkey, ham and cranberry, pork and apple and chicken and stuffing.

The cheeses included in the photos are Bonfire smoked, Cornish yarg which is wrapped in nettle leaves to form an edible though mouldy rind which looks really rustic and a Somerset camembert.

The second shoot was an intimate setup with wine, cheese, olives, cured meats, bread rolls, crackers and crisps, all perfect finger food complete with Sharpham wine.
The Wooden pallet, olive wood oiled grazing boards, cushions and all furnishings available to hire from
Coutts Events.

The third and final shoot was the grand finale the buffet banquet, to show case some of the local products available and to show a small spread that you could have.
As we head towards the season for parties and gatherings, this year is looking to be very different with much smaller numbers and less going out there is likely to be more parties and buffets taking place at home.

Along with the hampers there will also be some ‘Stay at home buffet packages’ available too which will include some of our popular products such as Devon cured honeyroast ham, Somerset Camembert, Hand raised pork pies, Cutting pies which come in a variety of flavours with the option to add drinks with a variety of local alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to accompany the buffet food such as Sharpham wine Pinot noir Red and Dart valley reserve, a selection of Sandford Orchards ciders, apple juice and Bays Brewery lager and ale.
